MergeScope

Data Processing

MergeScope is 100% client-side. All model parsing and merge simulation happens in your browser using JavaScript. No files are uploaded to any server.

When you drop a GGUF or SafeTensors file into MergeScope:

  • The file stays on your computer
  • Only metadata and tensor structure are read (not actual weights)
  • Nothing is transmitted over the network
  • No data is stored or logged by MergeScope

Analytics

MergeScope uses Google Analytics (ID: G-Z8159X0BRK) to collect anonymous usage statistics:

  • Page views and session duration
  • Browser type, device type, and screen resolution
  • Geographic location (country/region level only)
  • Referral sources (how you found MergeScope)

No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected. No model file names, sizes, or content are tracked.

Advertising

MergeScope displays ads via Google AdSense (Publisher ID: ca-pub-2761624759066126). AdSense may use cookies to serve personalized ads based on your browsing history.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.

Cookies

MergeScope itself does not set any cookies. However, third-party services (Google Analytics and AdSense) may use cookies for analytics and advertising purposes.

You can block cookies in your browser settings if you prefer.

Third-Party Services

MergeScope uses the following external resources:

  • ECharts (via CDN) — for charts and visualizations
  • Google Analytics — for usage tracking
  • Google AdSense — for advertising

Each service has its own privacy policy:

Data Retention

MergeScope does not store or retain any user data. All processing happens in your browser and is discarded when you close the tab.

Google Analytics retains usage data for 26 months (default setting).

Your Rights

Because MergeScope does not collect or store personal data, there is no data to request, modify, or delete.

For questions about analytics data, refer to Google's Privacy Policy.
